The Reporting Time (also known as “Call-In Pay”) is when an employee reports to work for a shift and they are sent home before the conclusion of their scheduled shift and are entitled to pay for unworked hours. Harri has built this feature so that the employer can easily activate this in the ‘General’ section of their TeamLive settings, and the applicable state rules are automatically applied to employees’ timesheets.
To turn this on, simply select the state rule your brand is based in for each location. Once Reporting Time/Call-In Pay has been activated in your TeamLive settings, make sure to update the TeamHub app on your iPad.
The new update in TeamHub will prompt your employee to select a reason for their early clock-out. (Please note: As RT/CIP is contingent upon a scheduled shift, it will not prompt your employee if they are clocked in for an unscheduled shift.)
Once you have activated Reporting Time/Call-In Pay in your settings and have updated the TeamHub app, your employees will have the ability to claim ‘Manager Dismissal’ as a reason for early clock-out ahead of the scheduled end time of the shift. Selecting this will require manager approval. You can also manage this later by making adjustments in the timecard.
To do this, you will need to select ‘Time Sheet’ from the TeamHub menu in the nav bar.
This will bring you to your Time Sheet page. If there is an early clock-out that qualified for Reporting Time (Call-In) pay, you will see that the ‘Reporting Time’ column is filled in rather than being blank.
If you see a discrepancy, click on the list icons for the error on the rightmost column to open the timecard for that employee/date.
Once you are in the timecard in the ‘Details’ tab, you will have the ability to change the early clock-out reason from the drop-down menu, or toggle the Reporting Time feature to ‘off’ for this specific timecard.
Make all necessary timecard adjustments and click ‘approve’ to save.
